LL2MP4 Quick Start Guide

A. Setting up LL2MP4:

1.Download LL2MP4.zip and unzip in a directory of your choice; in this guide we will use C:\LL2MP4. The auxiliary program "Sleep.exe" is packed with LL2MP4.exe. Both executables should be present in the same directory.
2.Start LL2MP4 and in the "Codecs" menu click APE to download the Monkey's Audio installer. Run the installer. After installation, copy mac.exe from the directory where you installed Monkey's Audio to C:\LL2MP4.
3.Then click FLAC to download the FLAC installer. Unzip the downloaded file and run the FLAC installer. After Flac installation is complete, copy flac.exe and metaflac.exe from the directory where you installed Flac to C:\LL2MP4.
4.Download the LAME codec. Unzip the downloaded file and copy lame.exe to C:\LL2MP4. Note: do not choose one of the alpha or beta versions!
5.Download the NeroAACCodec zip file, unpack it in a directory of your choice and copy neroAacEnc.exe and neroAacTag.exe to C:\LL2MP4.

B. To use LL2MP4 do the following:

6.Drop a selection of audio files supported by LL2MP4 (APE, FLAC, MP3, WAV) on the program window. The filenames are shown in the Cue List.
7.You also may drop one or more directories with audio files on the program.
8.Steps 6 and 7 may be repeated.
9.In the Conversion type drop-down, select one of the conversion modes: either combine all audio files into one MP4 file, or convert each separately into an MP4 file.
10.Select a value in one of the three Bitrate control modes.
11.Click the Start Conversion button and select an output directory in the Dialog window that opens. If you have selected the Conversion type "All Audio files combined into one MP4 file", you also may choose an output filename.
12.After closing the Dialog window the conversion starts.
