LL2MP3 Quick start guide

  1. Download LL2MP3.zip and unzip in a directory of your choice; in this guide we will use C:\LL2MP3.
  2. Download the Lame codec. Unzip the downloaded file and copy lame.exe to C:\LL2MP3. Note: do not choose one of the alpha or beta versions!
  3. Download the Flac installer. Unzip the downloaded file and run the Flac installer. After Flac installation is complete, copy flac.exe and metaflac.exe from the directory where you installed Flac to C:\LL2MP3.
  4. Download the Monkey's Audio installer. Run the installer. After installation, copy mac.exe from the directory where you installed Monkey's Audio to C:\LL2MP3.
  5. Doubleclick LL2MP3.exe to start the program.
  6. Press F10 to open the codec location window.
  7. Click the browse button next to the LAME drop-down box, browse to C:\LL2MP3 and doubleclick on the codec shown in the dialog box.
  8. Repeat this step for the other codecs.
  9. Close the codec location window.
  10. You are now ready to start using LL2MP3.
